Product Description
This Toy Dart Gun - Tek 6 Foam Dart Gun offers air powered six-gun action for a dart blasting good time. The darts are shot by the power of pressure, so there are no batteries required, just pump it up for more power! The more you pump the further and faster the darts will go! There's an automatic rotating barrel to fire the darts quicker. Nice and simple to use you simply, load the darts, pull back on the slide to pump and pull the trigger to launch the dart. A great Birthday or Christmas gift for the kids to enjoy on those school holidays. Have fun and keep active as you chase each other around with the Tek 6 Foam Dart Gun, ducking and diving to avoid getting a dart in the face!

This little 6 shooter is excellent, what is there not to like?Let's look at my blaster criteria for this gun.1) Power, despite being such a small gun, it's got plenty of power and distance. It's spring is more powerful than the Nerf Maverick's.2) Speed, it's auto-rotate, you can get off 6 shots as quickly as you can pull the spring back 6 times.3) Jamming - none at all. This is a simple gun and simple is good, no bells and whistles to jam your bullets in.4) Price - lastly, it's cheap. You can buy a couple as back up for next to nothing.Pros and cons - There are no cons that I can see. In blaster wars, you can always use an extra gun in awkward situations where you are loading or your main gun is jammed. This is a nice back up or main gun with plenty of speed, power and ease of use. A 10/10 for me.Postscript/100 shot review:Here are my notes after taking more than 100 shots.Speed: It's fast to load. You don't need to pull anything out to load it, just insert 6 darts from the front.Accuracy: It's one of the most accurate blasters I have. It tends to go high, so just aim a littler lower and you'll be ok!

I am a college student. We have a game on our campus called "Humans vs. Zombies" (it's at many campuses across the U.S.). It's a sort of moderated tag. Essentially, a group of students gets together and labels themselves with bandanas (humans around the arm, zombies around the head). At the start of the game, a player is chosen at random to be the "original zombie". All other players begin as "humans". Zombies have to tag a human (turning the human into a zombie) to "feed" every 48 hours or they starve, but humans can stun zombies for 10 minutes with a Nerf dart or a sock. This continues for a few days (outside of class) until either all zombies starve or all humans become zombies. This game makes Nerf blasters (and look-alikes) quite popular at my campus, and as a player of the game, I purchased a couple myself, including this one (at the recommendation of my peers). This blaster is Buzz Bee's version of the Nerf Maverick. Both are six-shot revolvers, and each have their pros and cons, but overall I probably prefer this one. This blaster loads in the front. There is no barrel to slide out. This is a HUGE advantage for Humans vs. Zombies, and makes loading and checking ammo much faster. This also has the advantage that if one dart jams, it doesn't stop you from firing the other darts before you unjam it. Although, I haven't had a single dart jam in this blaster ever, as opposed to the Maverick, where jams are uncommon if you load it well, but still not rare.Possibly the one disadvantage of this blaster is that it can be difficult to cock. The Maverick is not. I don't have a huge problem with it, but, of course, I am college-age. Younger kids may possibly have trouble. As far as range goes, I haven't measured, but it doesn't seem to be any better or worse than the Maverick. I haven't modded it and can't really speak for how possible modding is for this blaster. Both the Nerf and the Buzz Bee blaster will shoot any dart of either brand without complaint. This isn't an advantage of this brand over Nerf, but it could be a good reason to buy one of these over some other style of blaster. This seems like it will take more of a beating than the Maverick, but both seem pretty hardy, so it's hard to say. I think I'd have trouble breaking it unless I decided to hit it with a hammer or something though.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this blaster.

By Joslin
My friends all invested in the Nerf Maverick gun our freshman year of college. I went against the mainstream and bought this gun at my local Walmart because it was a few bucks cheaper. My friends have all pretty much had problems with the loading of darts into the dart chamber on their Nerf brand guns. Because this is a front loading gun, there is no chamber mechanism to jam like the Nerf brand. This is a major advantage to me when have dart wars because I can load faster and my darts won't get stuck like theirs. The cool thing is the BuzzBee and Nerf brands will take each other's darts without a problem, so there's never a worry of me running out with the huge stockpile of Nerf bullets we have accumulated. We are now three years into school and I am the only who has a properly functioning gun. Way to go BuzBeeToys, you beat Nerf on that one!
